We talk, talk, talk--now more than ever via all the technology and social media there is out there. But perhaps more entertainment comes from listening--and not just to podcasts and music... What about the skill of eavesdropping? Has that disappeared? And what lessons can be learned from that time-tested technique?

About Debra Rubino:

Debra Rubino is an active visual artist whose newest work was most recently shown at the Stevenson University Galery. She has worked in the communications field since arriving in Baltimore many years ago. She was associate VP. for communications at MICA when the web was born and has to her credit the first two websites ever to appear from the esteemed art college, went from there to Goucher College as VP. for communications. She now serves as director of strategic communications at the Open Society Institute-Baltimore and is the editor of the blog "Audacious Ideas". She is a board member of Art on Purpose andthe Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance.
