Ramp It Up: Skateboard Culture in Native America
A behind-the scenes look at how (and why) a 52-year old white Episcopalian from Baltimore became the first person to curate a show of Native American skateboard culture at the Smithsonian and successfully build a 1/2 pipe smack dab in the middle of the National Museum of the American Indian.
About Betsy Gordon:
Betsy Gordon went to Wellesley College to study art history 34 years ago and somehow ended up hanging out with a bunch of skate punks and Z-Boys on the Indian reservations of California and the Southwest. Along the way she became a mother of three, a regular commuter on the Marc train, and a seasoned museum professional.

The half pipe in the middle of the NAMI was worth two trips to DC. What a grat museum!
