Ignite Baltimore #4

David Troy

The Adventures of Local Man

Local Man is a hero of mythic proportions. He died when a car hit his wheelchair. He made a film about his passions: hockey and water skiing. He shared his Apollo 11 memories. He was accused of paying someone to burn down a house. He truly is the everyman; the mensch; the person we are all too timid to become.

But what does it mean to really become Local Man? How can we become the person that Local Man asks us to be? When and how do we connect with our place in the world and become as relevant and remarkable as Local Man? We'll laugh and cry as we trace Local Man's path to greatness.
