From the basement to the office, how lessons learned establishing a diy punk space can be applied to software
Often a project regardless of medium (community / art / software) fails for the same reasons. Its not the choice of location or technology, its the organizational choices and people involved who make it fail. In this talk I will discuss the similarities between establishing and running a diy art venue (charm city art space 1000 shows , 7 years running , 2 best of baltimore awards) and developing software and leading teams of developers and designers on successful software projects.
