mHealth: Saving lives, one mobile phone at a time
There are 4.6 billion mobile phones in the world. And the rates of ownership and subscription are growing fastest in many of the poorest countries in the world. This unprecedented global technology adoption is providing opportunities to combat high rates of disease and save the lives of people living in some of the most under-served communities around the globe.
About James BonTempo:

This proposal has been submitted from Nairobi, Kenya, where James is working with a local team to incorporate the use of mobile and other technologies into a Gates Foundation project aimed at improving health in urban slums.
