Why the Urban Playground Movement Needs to Come to Baltimore
The Urban Playground Movement is happening all over the world. It is about people coming together to have fun in an urban center. Urban Playground Events are always free and open to all, usually ocurring in a public space. Baltimore has participated in some Urban Playground events in the past, such as the Pillowfight that occured in the Harbor a few years ago. But the city needs Urban Playground now more than ever. As someone who comes from New York City, the lack of free events in Baltimore can sometimes seem daunting. It's time for the city to have fun as a whole, through blowing bubbles and riding Big Wheels together.
